It astonishes me that many people in Croatia even address me as "sir, boy" or
use other male forms of words (verbs) when they know my first name which is
undoubtedly a name given to girls.

For instance: pacijent instead of pacijentica

"mora da si nesto uradio" instead of uradila

Sometimes I correct them, sometimes I don't.
